The Coronavirus, not the beer

South Korea is testing just about everyone. This finds infected people before they can spread the infection. Seems like a good idea.

They know their economy and livelihood lies in the health and welfare of their people.

6 deaths in Washington state...the 6th one occurring during the press conference being held by health officials there

Called city officials in Kirkland, WA, the epicenter of the coronavirus outbreak,

to ask if they've heard from anyone on the White House task force.

Answer: "Not directly."

tell me again, why this isn't a political issue ?

It doesn't look like the U.S. is providing the WHO an updated number of official cases. The number has been stuck on 64 for 3 days at least.

Sounds like Trump wants to do damage control so the markets don't continue to drop.

Local cases are being reported by their states. At this point it doesn't really matter if WHO has our info.

What really sucks is the FDA regulations set by the Obama admin that caused hospitals to need approval to test patients.

Yeah. I honestly expect numbers like that here in the States as testing ramps up. It spreads fast.

Scary. But it doesn't do any good to freak out. Case of community transmission reported just two towns from where I live. I was having dinner there over the weekend.

My company CEO just sent us an email cancelling our trip to Vegas next week. Bummed, but probably prudent not to send hundreds of employees to a 100K people conference in a petri dish of a city, lol.

Right, because the Obama regulations can't be changed now that there is a need to change them. Jeez.
