The Coronavirus, not the beer

The arrogance of the left is amusing considering how you've gotten almost every big issue wrong the last 3-4 years.

Why would the media who are not doctors supress this treatment?
Because they share a tribe common with the progressives. It’s bad but it is what it is.

You read the exact same type of media but on the right. How is this any different?

It’s the nature of for profit media that they tailor their product to their consumers.

Steve Bannon is the most brilliant political mind of our time

He should be back in the White House immediately.

They know the doctors reports. THey know the anecdotal evidence from doctors all over the world

The only reason to fight against it is because it will help Trump.

Massive decrease in hospitalizations in NY.

The idea that the right side of the peak would be longer than the left was always misguided.

I suppose that’s true an indirect way. Rather there’s certainly a large amount of confirmation bias at play (ignore the good, focus on the bad). If you’re worried about the media not getting their fair share of blame, don’t be — they are polling by far the worst in this whole mess.

I’ll flip the question back at you. Why are you so against social distancing orders? There’s significant evidence that it’s helping, and there is a broad consensus from economists that ending the lockdown too soon will have adverse economic effects.

I'm not against social distancing at all.

I was a huge proponent of stay at home orders for March

Not my question. But to be more specific, let’s say through April since that’s the current policy.

Data doesnt support this decision anymore.

We ramped up capacity and have treatment. We know who is at risk.

For a long time now I've been pushing a go back to work for the majority of the population and have government incentive for ay risk population.

The greatest city in the planet is run by imbeciles. I wonder why...

Treatment is anecdotally good. But not proven to be effective clinically.

Our capacity supports a bended curve.

Economic models still show the risk/reward trade off still supports a shutdown.

My point here is that if you are going to be “data driven” and cherry pick the headlines you like then you need to be consistent. You can’t anecdotally trust in Hydroxychloroquine to be a cure all and in the same time ignore the data that supports continued shutdown.

But its much more than that Chop. You like me believe many more have been infected. As long as antibodies don't disappear immediately (or else the whole planet is doomed) then we have built up enough immunity to stop the spread from escalating as it did previously. There is just no way that even regular interaction would result in a sharp rise of infection. But, people will change their behavior and further slow the spread

HydroxyChloroquine is a small part of the puzzle but it works My GF's parents took it and are now better. Believe it or not (not you specifically) but there are thousands of stories of this now in the world.

The virus has been here since at least early November The whole population is infected already.

This will.be the left's defense now.

Even trump will say stupid **** like this.

Bottom line is that the stay at home worked to end the curve but the original projections of the curve were embarrassingly wrong.

Every eligible american should be taking these
We could have saved tens of thousands of lives globally. What a tragedy.

Please tell me the left is not making a pandemic a partisan issue.

They know Biden has no shot. This is their last haul mary until another 4 years of Trump and potential a destruction of the democratic party as we know it.

just gonna keep remembering all of these type posts when i will continue seeing how pro life people are once we get through this

“And in the end, it’s not the years in your life that count. It’s the life in your years.” — Abraham Lincoln

When we get through this, I'll still be with Lincoln.
