This graph is a bit worrisome. All of our efforts so far have been just enough to bring R naught down to slightly below 1.

So sunlight heat and humidity kills the virus.

Why are we indoors again?

Because most of us work indoors you prating twat. That's what's going on. No one is saying don't go in public ever, because the virus will disperse. BUT remember that the actual tests involved don't involve sunlight, but UV-C, which our Ozone layer filters out because it's dangerous on human skin. What's good about this is exposure to UV-C in say a chamber can let people reuse their masks and other PPE safely.

"UV-C light in the 260 -- 285 nm range most relevant for current disinfection technologies is also harmful to human skin, so for now it is mostly used in applications where no one is present at the time of disinfection," Zollner said. In fact, the World Health Organization warns against using ultraviolet disinfection lamps to sanitize hands or other areas of the skin -- even brief exposure to UV-C light can cause burns and eye damage.

This is a combination of a number of things, commonality of the disease is a big thing, but we're dealing with a very infectious disease that wasn't taken seriously. New Orleans had Mardigras, NYC didn't shut down until it was too late and I know a number of people who were travelling around the time **** got real. So they could have spread it to a number of peoples. Seriously, it's kinda ****ed how the response was.

Listen to what I said back on March 11

"Honestly the best thing to offer would be to just say to every American adult and emancipated youth, you get 4k for not going to work or going out for the next month."

So 30,000 official new cases equals how many actual cases a day? And that many new cases equals how many actual deaths 2 - 4 weeks from now?

Bedell, are y'all doing zoom services or anything like that? I imagine the practicality of that varies widely from congregation to congregation.

I'm usually in Zoom meetings 2 or 3 times a day. Yes! Our folk have jumped in amazingly. We have a Wednesday evening prayer meeting typically with 50-60 folk online for that. We use it for staff and leadership meetings. And now our small groups are being to use it to stay connected. For this old guy, it is beautiful to see. So grateful for the technology. We also have a very active Facebook group and we send out mailings and email. For our services, we are live-streaming using YouTube. We've come a long way over about 6 weeks time.

For my teaching, I'm using Google Meet and Google Classrooms.

Bryan later cautioned that the agency's findings did not mean that sunlight will kill the virus, nor should going outdoors supersede social distancing guidelines put in place by state and federal leaders.

"It would be irresponsible for us to say that we feel the summer is just going to totally kill the virus... that is not the case," he said
.

5 to 10 times and deaths would be 1% of that

150,000-300,000 actual cases and 1,500-3,000 deaths per day

looking at 40,000-50,000 deaths in May.

Zactly. By my count we're roughly at 50,000 deaths now, give or take. thethe says that we'll be over 50K. I have to admit that his math is solid.

Hydroxychloriquine failed as a miracle drug, so now we're going to test lasers, tanning beds, sunlight inside the body (somehow?), and bleach injections.

Someone tell him about balancing humours. Bloodletting is safer.
