Lol you LITERALLY just asked what she said at the panel.

If this is not what you meant then you need to get better at sentences, dude

"i still am curious why she was there and find it even more odd the bull**** you continue to spout about it

but anyway, still would like to know, what did she say there? what was the reason for such an odd invite? etc etc"

you are insufferable

yep, still curious what did she say there

when this futuristic panel that you and ben and others got so triggered about

once i find out what she said there etc, i can determine if she should have been there at all

cause it doesn't seem to make sense to have her there but who really knows yet

By the way, you never needed to learn the name

of Dr. Fauci during the Ebola Crisis, because

BarackObama just ****ing took his advice.

Why is Ben Shapiro (or Donald Trump for that matter) a credible voice regarding Covid-19 and not Greta Thunburg ?

Which piece of advice?

The one where he said this wasn't an issue to Americans?

Or how about that masks are ineffective?

The panel hasn't happened yet lol

But she is one of the experts!

I'n guessing possibly to give an opinion from the point of view of young people. May be even to encourage young people to take this seriously. Either way, yeah it's clearly ratings driven.

I don't think that Georgia is cooking its numbers but I think anyone interested in knowing what is going on there should be aware of how they are putting some of their numbers together.

https://www.ajc.com/news/coronavirus-georgia-covid-dashboard/jvoLBozRtBSVSNQDDAuZxH/

The AJC notes that their dashboard will show trends that are different from what the Department of Public Health is showing and provides an explanation why:

Q: Why do the AJC’s charts look different from DPH's charts?

A: Recently, DPH has added trend charts to their site, “COVID-19 Cases over Time” and “Confirmed COVID Deaths over Time.” In those charts, as new reports come in, DPH allocates them to earlier dates, based on when symptoms developed; tests were taken or reported to the state; or deaths occurred.

Those two time-series charts are always going to show a downward trend because of the lag in when the data is reported. On May 1, for example, the chart of cases showed 21 news cases. Now the chart shows more than 600 for that date.

We believe showing running averages of cases and deaths, along with the day's latest data on new infections and deaths, is the most accurate and clear way to show trends over time. Many other organizations use this visualization.

So showing the earliest date when someone is known to have the virus is less accurate/effective?

I think the AJC's exposition of the issues is pretty clear and straightforward. I'm not saying one way is better than the other. The main thing is to understand how the data are being assembled.

Makes no sense to average. The most important thing to know is the date of contraction. The closest proxy to rhat is the initial date of confirmed test.

Any other logic is well illogical.

House leadership should listen to its moderate members and resist the temptation to push policy changes in these relief bills. It's not gonna happen anyhow with a divided Congress. Gotta be pragmatic.

Those reasons make sense

And the ratings things seems very possible

Since I hadn’t heard about it (whenever it happens) until Ben and fb got triggered by her name being tied to it

Meh, republicans don’t care about pushing their agenda whenever possible

I don’t see why they should play by different rules

Republicans can capitulate

Trump has surrendered to the coronavirus.

Now his plan is to normalize mass casualties,

distract the public with conspiracy theories,

and blame China for his own failures.
