The Coronavirus, not the beer

Politics have warped you. You need bad news so that you can claim the democratic policies were right and republican policies are wrong.

I get it. But think it's sad. People want to get on with their lives and these governors who endlessly extend these lockdowns are going to have political problems in the future I suspect. Especially if the red states continue to manage towards normalcy

politics has warped me ? right as you go into the political cost of disagreeing with you
Gotcha

We have no idea what normalcy will look like in a year.
Not even weighing politics into the equation

neighbors and friends are cautiously getting back out. Pretty much agreeing "we know how to protect our selves and we know how to distance."
My fear is they (myself included ) get cocky and sloppy

It is easy to slip up. I keep leaving the house without a mask. If I haven't gone too far, I'll head back to get it. If I'm going by car I have a couple masks in the car. One for me and one for my son, who always forgets his.

If I get sick it'll probably be from the guy who runs my favorite pizza place. He is in his 70s and kinda absent-minded. He doesn't know how to wear a mask. He never covers his nose. His wife (who sometimes helps him) says his nose is too big to cover. And he is always very animated when he talks to me (ie expels a lot of air when he speaks). And because he is hard of hearing I have to yell when I talk to him. So he and I exchange a lot of germs whenever I go get pizza. He makes the best pizza and I get a kick out of winding him up so I take the risk.

Definitely need to wear that mask outside where there is very little evidence the virus spreads.

Only thing you're spreading is fear.

I dont know about spreading fear, but yeah, I am afraid, afraid that if science is right, which I have no reason to doubt
I am very capable of taking out families or spreading grief,

For no reason other than I lacked patience
to let this play out

In baseball I believe the most dangerous count is 2-0 -. Because hitters get, "sloppy and cocky"
Worst mistake a hitter can make is pop up a 2-0 pitch.
I dont want to be that guy

Jesus this is what you actually believe?

This is NOT the science.

I know you aren't aware but there is little research which shows the virus spreads outdoors.

that is a rather small view. Of course in a wide open field that is the case. In situations where people do not distance --- or perhaps on a sidewalk

I went for take out last Friday where people mingled on the sidewalk like it was 1999

I agree that indoors is really when you need to wear it. And really there is not much scientific research on the benefits of wearing a mask indoors.

I wear it outdoors mostly as a gesture.

The superspreader events have been very much skewed toward indoor events. But there is that soccer game in Italy. Who knows. Fans also probably met up at bars before and after the game. Also wasn't there some big women's march in Madrid? And some people got sick after attending a Mardi Gras parade. They didn't go to a bar. Just watched the floats and went home.

I would imagine an outdoor concert would be fairly risky where people are bouncing around and expelling a lot of air while being packed in close quarters for a couple hours.

Demonstrations and rallies where people are close to each other and yelling might be risky too.

Masks are a symbol of control.

Inside makes sense I suppose but anything outdoors is illogical and flat out stupid.

I wear it outdoors to be sure I wear it indoors
or if I know I will be around others
