Herd immunity as an offical policy is convenient for an administration that wasn't doing anything to begin with.
Herd immunity in general for a coronavirus is not smart. There are already reports of reinfection popping up across the world.

don't we all
So a vaccine won't work, then?
So a vaccine won't work, then?
That really wasn’t the topic at hand was it?
But I'm not expecting some cure-all vaccine within the next 6 months or anything, let's put it that way.
That's what the experts have been saying. If there is a vaccine it will be only partially effective and a lot of people will still be getting sick. Better than nothing, but we still are going to need to have a plan for controlling its spread.
In the end I think covid-19 will end up like seasonal flu. You can get yearly vaccines that will be partially effective but not complete and the virus' mortality rate will be diminished.
I don't think it's going away and something we will just have to deal with it.

My point is it's not really the policy. The policy is to do nothing. Herd immunity just came along for them to attach their incompetence to.
I assume you agree then that Spain, Italy, and any country within the ballpark of US is unquestionably failed leadership?

I just want to ensure they all are declared incompetent.
Curious, how does US stack up when we remove the failed leadership of Cuomo and Murphy? (I believe you described them as the model)
They are indeed the model for killing the most people and the most jobs
I'm not a fan of Cuomo's but I find it weird you don't consider the population density of NY City and NJ when discussing these matters. But then you are the one who keeps bumping that graph from Sweden that cuts off on April 10. So we all know what your contribution around here is all about.
