Yup, it's almost like this disease is really bad for people with underlying health condidions. Which according to quick searches, 34M americans have diabetes, 37M have lung disease, 70M are obese, 30M with heart disease, obviously some overlap and I didn't delve into the rest of the underlying complications.
But if someone would be able to live with diabetes, like my dad has been for 20+ years, and he catches COVID and dies, is his death not from COVID even though he could have lived for many years afterwards?
