Again, Brazil has done nothing to inhibit the virus. And it's still ravaging that country. Sweden did nothing for a year aside from recommendations that people did follow but no mandates and it's still ravaging that country. There's 0 evidence that what you said would happen. Literally none and as far as I know, no epidemiologist recommends that course of action.

We even had Birx early in the pandemic say that at least 25% of covid deaths are wrong.
Then the cdc said that only 6% of deaths were directly attributed to covid.

Government intervention 100% helped to curb smoking. That is a fact that isn't disputable.
