The Coronavirus, not the beer

Oh, I didn’t realize that in the vastness of outdoors that people had to stand on top of each other while waiting on line.

Silly me.

That’s what happens when you can’t win a debate.

We all see the pathetic attempt to divert attention from the damning laptop. It’s what low information npc voters do.

I'm not trying to "win a debate" with you. You don't debate. You spew nonsense. You're using that classic Ben Shapiro shenanigans where you just say the same thing over and over again until the other person gets mad and quits. My troll game is better than yours so you don't have a shot at doing that to me.

If you prefer I can break it up with this one

Can you imagine the conspiracies if we had somehow moved all voting to open spaces outdoors this year instead of just letting people mail in or drop off a ballot? Something about Antifa ninjas in the nearby woods using radio waves to alter votes on the Dominion machines that didn't have effective weatherproofing.

Unless Trump had won, of course. Then it would have been perfect.

How about if the media didn’t conspire to censure damaging stories and then gloat about it after the election?

I heard Kemp repealing gas tax for the next few days

Silly. If anything they should jack the prices way up and collect more taxes.

Though I think the better solution for this **** is always to punish people who're dicks, like the idiots in Virginia filling up oil drums with Gas.

In a sharp turnabout from previous recommendations, federal health officials on Thursday advised that Americans who are fully vaccinated against the coronavirus may stop wearing masks or maintaining social distance in most indoor and outdoor settings, regardless of size.

The advice from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention comes as welcome news to Americans who have tired of restrictions and marks a watershed moment in the pandemic.

“Those who want to virtue signal and let strangers know that they’re not a Republican should continue to wear a mask, preferably two.”

In all seriousness...good news.

More desperately needed leadership coming from the red states

Weird to see a conservative who should be for local control lapping this PR stuff from McMaster. You can complain about “virtue signaling” by people who prefer to wear masks, but pretty much everything McMaster has done for the last year is political virtue signaling, with little positive impact, and plenty of potential negative.

The same time that he announced that we were withdrawing from federal UI programs because of the so-called “labor shortage,” the head of the largest local restaurant group, in announcing the closure of one of their many local joints, said that they didn’t think that UI was the cause of the closure.

My community had the worst COVID numbers in SC. It’s the reddest and most vaccine-hesitant of the larger MSAs, outside the small urban core. I don’t think this is a coincidence. That said, I’m personally ok with the local school district’s decision to make masks optional. I’m personally ok with the effective nullification of local and municipal mask mandates, because they were, in my observation, not really enforceable and, except in a few circumstances, of questionable utility anyway. That was not the case a few months ago, though. But take it from someone who lives here—seeing it used as a political prop, whether by McMaster or by you on a message board—is kinda galling.

Good to see the Yankees making a contribution to the advancement of science.

This outbreak seems to suggest that the J&J vaccine, while effective against serious illness, is not that effective stopping relatively mild cases.

Wonder if the other MLB teams are using different vaccines. The frequent testing regimen could provide some insights into how those are working.

The question that needs to be asked is what happens if half of a team/group is not vaccinated? Can they become seriously ill from catching covid from vaccinated people? Seems like an important question that has not been put to bed.

Looks like Rand Paul was right, again.

Looks like Fauci was wrong, again.

Lol the CDC saying the science has evolved in the last week is so hilarious.

Non idiots who followed the science have been saying this for 6 months.
