rinse, repeat, vanquish delta
Until Epsilon comes....
rinse, repeat, vanquish delta
I'm saying they have a 1% rate in a state with a 13% rate. Y'all free to say that's nothing. They're probably looking at those numbers and not inclined to join the rest of Ohio and its 13% rate. They have students living in dorms and students coming in from all over the country. And they have a 1% rate compared to 13% in the rest of Ohio. That's what's possible if you have a serious plan and execute it. There are a ton of colleges and universities that have been similarly successful. Oh by the way all of those schools are also having sports and classes with professors and students living in dorms. They are not throwing their hands up and saying it is too hard. They are vanquishing delta and giving their students a college experience similar to pre-covid years.
“Similar” is doing a hell of a lot of work in that last sentence
what is a college experience...making friends in a shared living arrangement...learning in a classroom or lab from professors and fellow students
there are other things but that's the core of it
these schools have worked very hard to have this experience restored for their students
oberlin wasn't planning an outdoor mask mandate...but it observed 2 things...one was covid blowing up in ohio...the second was what happened at duke and other schools during the initial period when students returned to campus...and they decided to be extra cautious during the initial weeks when students returned to their campus....it will probably turn out to be one of those unnecessary precautions...but the way they look at it that's ok...if after two weeks they feel like they have a handle on things they can move away from the outdoor mask mandate...right now they have a 1% rate...they have kept it that low for over a year now...i think they have a pretty good idea of what they are doing...other schools have kept it below 1% for every month of the past year...they too know what they are doing
Unscientific policies
Terrific…hope it stays inside the gates of Oberlin
Quite a society the left has built.
The lecturing buffoon calls this a normal college experience

Sounds like a kid who would be better served going to college in Alabama or Mississippi. Just sayin.
The plan is to keep it out. But I'm sure Oberlin appreciates your positive vibes.
By “it” I meant their ridiculous mitigation efforts, not covid, to be clear

At least USC is allowing their professors to have a quick sip, even if the students can’t. The virus agreed to respect the authority figure in the room.
If the students need a drink, couldn’t they just say they “were feeling the spirit,” or do they have to be elected mayor first?
