I do. When you have people on CNN now saying cloth masks are just decorations and Newsmax probably saying masks are transmitting your thoughts to China or whatever, the CDC, if we’re going to have it, should be the place where Americans go to get the absolute best advice. 21,000 full time employees and billions of dollars in yearly funding. Don’t think it’s unreasonable to hold them to the highest standards.

I don't think it's unreasonable to hold them to that standard. What would be the thing you'd want? What would solve it and not make you make a snarky post about cdc saying n95s are bad?

Personally, I think CDC's guidance is pretty clear. But that's me.
 
I already said what I want…the first item on their what to wear list should be non-“surgical” N95’s, not “let’s put surgical N95’s on the do not wear list and hope people deduce they can and should wear non-surgical N95’s, even though most Americans have no reason to know there’s a distinction.”
 
There’s not been a more inept branch of health during this whole thing than the CDC. Their once flawless reputation will take a long time to repair.

Maybe they need Dustin Hoffman back.

My faith in other people's abilities abilities to rationally make intelligent decisions have waned. That's one thing. And I say that for both sides. i know people on both sides, the "it's fake it's nothing worse than a cold" crowd and the people who're so afraid they don't socialize anymore. Virus is bad, but just be smart and you'll get through it. If you're not smart you probably will get through it, your odds are just lower. And you better hope your stupidity doesn't get anyone I care for killed or I'll be sure you never forget about it.

And I agree with it, except I believe it will be used as a campaign strategy. Jack is thinking more sinisterly. He's probably correct though

Zito is right about this though. The evidence is overwhelming that omicron is extremely mild.. basically a cold.

And yet, (D) leaders across the country are imposing the strictest restrictions yet, even after 3(!) super effective shots.
