Very Flirtatious, but Doubts What Love Is.
No telling how the season would have ended either.
I choose to believe he would have hit even better over the last month, had he not been beaned in the face.

You can choose to do that but that is far from a given.
Sure: I think the fact that it wasn't a given was a given in my post.
I didn't see it! I need givens to be given.
Justin is now hitting 400/538/1033 - 1572 against lefties That's good for a WRC+ of 316. His isolated slugging is 633. 6 of his 13 homers have come against lefties in only 30 abs.
His OPS, WRC+, and ISO are all tops in baseball against lefties. He is crushing them.
This is why Justin needs to hit between Heyward and Freeman. Need managers to at least think twice before bringing in those loogys to get them out
The Red Sox were owners of an 8 game losing streak before coming into the Ted.![]()
I would go with Heyward, BJ, Justin, Freeman to avoid the LOOGY issue. If we have just one RHH between Heyward and Freeman there will often be the option of walking him. With two RHH the other manager will have to burn three pitchers to get the matchup advantage.
Nobody's walking BJ intentionally...
Braves record with Uggla starting: 20-11
Braves record w/o Uggla starting: 8-12
So are you advocating returning Uggla to the lineup.
Your proposal was to put just Justin between Heyward and Freeman. With that lineup, I could see Justin being walked by the LOOGY and the opposing manager would not have to burn multiple relievers.
I doubt it. But even so, getting a man on base for Freeman isn't a bad thing, is it?
No. That is a plus for your idea. The plus for my idea is that the other manager has to burn multiple relievers to get the platoon matchup. You would see Heyward and Freeman face different lefties. And on most teams that second lefty is not nearly as good.
