And regarding the rocker, I'll always remember the 6.66 era that he finished up with when he pitched with the Texas Rangers

If youre going to talk shit, you better have the ego to back it up. Larry Bird could have said something like that then went out and dropped 40. Rocker didn't have any meltdown because of stress, eh wasn't very good but had a good year, look at his minor league stats, they're not great, he walked too many guys and didn't strike them out enough. He just wasn't that good. Not good enough for any extra heat he brings.

He didn't leave a big hole in the pen he didn't create. You're making him out like he was dominant like Venters, he wasn't. He wasn't that great.
 
Venters. :( Probably the most dominant bullpen arm I've seen in 40 years. Well, second to '92 Eckersley anyway.
