The Reverse Pennant Chase

Haunted us to land Kyle Wright?

More like it haunted us by costing us 2 mil in bonus pool money we could have spent on drafting one more top notch prospect or multiple decent level prospects after round 10. Obviously didn't affect the top picks we made in rounds 1 and 2.

The 2016 draft was more where winning one extra game hurt us when we could have drafted Senzel.

I wonder how run down some of the guys are. I think snit only sees a 20 man roster unless the game is out of hand.

And anyone could have seen that coming from a mile away as many of us were talking about it happening last season when he was doing this same thing last year. His management style is not workable for full seasons or for the health of a bullpen.

1. Phillies- 43-73

We are so close. Must lose tonight.

I have never advocated losing but our drafts are better than watching the MLB product at times. Hail to the tank? I get to see more prospects. Ha.

I think (and hope) we are going to see an epic collapse to end the season and finish with the 1st pick!

I mean, the pitching is dog****. And we get a good start, the dog**** bullpen blows it.

Team showed some real grit last night to get to that t6 spot.

We could realistically get the 3rd pick lol. Crazy

That would be extremely difficult. Even if the Giants finish 20-20, which would be a surprise, the Braves would have to come in 14-30. It's technically possible but highly doubtful. We have 5 in our sights, and I could see 4 happening. But that's about it.

It could work out for us, though, because Beer could fall in our laps. And even if he proves to be a DH, I'd love to have a potential middle-of-the-order bat as a trade piece.
