Blow up the filibuster, pack the court if you'd like. Make the SC what y'all want, a legislative body. The members of the House and Senate can then just really not worry about anything other than preening and getting reelected.

the dems require a partisan liberal court bc everything they want to mandate on us is unconstitutional.
But to your point, the legislature is already useless. The supreme court was the last semblance of power that wasn't partisan in this country but the left will surely make sure that is no longer the case

Maybe you prefer the term expand the court. Might as well. Then everything progressives really want, just run it through the courts. Elected officials will be spared then of the nasty work of legislating and risking their cushy jobs.
The nation sucks anyway. It might as well go further into the dumpster.

This was so heavy handed that as far as I’m concerned there is nothing too far out of bounds if it remedies it. Honestly the conservatives have thrown out the rules so we should just have a street brawl for power. In some ways I do lean a bit conservative but this Republican Party is disgusting. I’m afraid we’re going to face the tyranny of the Christian Right in the Bible Belt states and it must be defeated by any means necessary.

3 open seats. Filled it with 3 people. Not sure the controversy but they don't like the outcome so gotta change the rules
