Well that depends on how broadly you're defining "political," I suppose. They and all other radical Islamist groups are most certainly in pursuit of political, idealogical, etc. aims.

Why are leftists so obsessed with this argument? Every time there is a terrorist attack committed by a non muslim they make this point. Do they hold Islamists to the same standard?
I wonder if a higher degree of specificity is becoming necessary when we're kind of haphazardly grouping the actions of Osama bin Laden, ISIS, the IRA, WUO, and fringe neo-Nazis operators under the same common umbrella.

Based on Antifa's past history this is incredibly naive. The defense of Antifa from the left is flat out scary. Even though the message is disgustingly hateful, You're defending violence against a peaceful assembly. This is fascism. The radicals are starting to win the war. We need to all agree that hate speech is bad, but violence against free speech is also bad.

I think terrorism in all forms should be forcefully rejected. Currently the radical Islamist terrorism is the far greater threat but I don't think that excuses us from acknowledging that while the Neo nazis in america on the surface are a fringe element, it's rooted in an ideology that has held power before and used it to murder people in the name of ethnic purification. And it can happen again if people don't pay attention.

Trump was the one who openly called for a more violent scrum. He longed for it and promoted it time and again on the stump. It would be only fitting if he were the one to receive it. With all of the vile and despicable things he has said and done, he's lucky to still have his head. There was a time, some might say a better time, when people would not have given a rapscallion like T so many chances to prove himself useless.
This doesn't have a heightened risk of causing violence to satisfy her request as a public official? At what point is this similar to screaming fire in a closed theatre?
In addition, do you denounce what she said or are you supportive of calling for assassination of the president?
