Yes. I can't believe how much people get up in arms over Twitter people. All Twitter nastiness has an equally opposite but comparable effect. I remember when people were tweeting nasty things about Obama's Grandmother when she died a few days before the election. People are so conditioned to trump and his Twitter trolls saying and tweet abhorrent things then are surprised when it creates a similar effect by some trolls on the other side.

"Large amounts of leftists". How many leftists are we referring to actually? Remember when Charlottesville was only "a few racists" who didn't represent all Conservatives or the GOP?

You were literally crying over Trump's Syria tweets (from 5 years ago - that were irrelevant to how the issue is being handled today) and, now, suddenly, 'It's just Twitter!!!'

yes, i think the words of the sitting president hold more weight than internet trollls

even on "it's just twitter" and even if they are old tweets.

yes, and he has years of talking about running and had run for president in the past

had a political following and was on news shows talking about events

all which lead to him becoming president

which are all relevant to this discourse

Oh, so you've expanded your bull**** criteria of who to take serious on Twitter to:

a) sitting President
b) those who have talked about running for President
c) those who have run for President
d) those who have a political following
e) those who were on news shows

and, now, these things made Trump President (and not Sean Hannity, as you contended in another thread and then ran away from)

how about not taking social media seriously at all?

it would save you a lot of grief and confusion about things like why the US military warned the Russian military they were about to bomb certain targets in Syria.

i would love to not take the things the likes of the sitting us president do on social media seriously but obviously it was effective for him to come into power. so, i guess i can't

edit: and obviously the douchphuck hannity and other factors helped him become president too.

Interesting how you remain skeptical of Assad using chemical weapons and at the same time have fully embraced this North Korea situation on behalf of Trump without any skepticism.
 
Being skeptical of the North Koreans is practical and necessary - but denying that significant progress has been made here (even if you don't want to give credit to the Trump administration) is kind of a fool's errand.
