I don't think "abolishing" Punggye-ri is necessarily 'progress' toward denuclearization, but rather more positive signaling and progress in normalizing diplomatic relations between the North and everyone else.

I wonder what they expect to get in return for behaving in a more normal manner. Some sanctions are in place due to their nuclear and ballistic programs. Others are in place due to prisoners being held, attacks against various targets, etc. When was the last time they killed someone outside their borders or harmed a non-citizen in their custody?
I will leave aside the treatment of their own people, which is a non-trivial matter.
I do allow for some small possibility Kim Jong Un could evolve into a Gorbachev type figure. Very small. But still worth keeping an open mind. However, it seems to me the onus is on him to show his bona fides.
And whether Trump realizes it or not, his meeting with Kim is a yuge diplomatic coup for Kim. Surely something needs to be extracted in return. Something significant.

What will you say next year when as predicted by a substantial amount of economists that this engine will be running smoothly? And if China actually practices free trade in the future? Do realize what that will do for a our deficit? The budget will be slashed away eventually when all these surpluses from entitlement programs are identified. You know becuase of all these 'actual' jobs that people are getting resulting in a drastic decrease in welfare requests?

I'm head-over-heels for an administration that is delivering results that closely align with my ideological desires.
Deny that results all you want. FOcus on the trash fake collusion conspiracy or all the hookers he ****ed. But deep down you know the good that is happening in the US and around the world as a result of a drastic change in approach from the last administration. You are way too smart not to see this. From what I gather Rocket man just wants a meeting with a current US President and to take a photo of them together smiling. Ridiculous that we were letting a photo op get in the way of global security.
