The Trump Presidency

you show little understanding of the issues surrounding the crime bill and the baggage it carried.

you had options. You proudly voted for one outside of the two you mentioned.
I thought it was a waste because he didn't have a snowballs chance of winning. All the same, you go to make your little statement

should really look closer at the state of politics surrounding the crime bill to understand where and why it happened.
I didn't say agree ----------------- I said understand

The Clintons exploited public fears of criminals/drugs much like Trump has with immigrants/muslims. The Clintons sold black people down the river and then had the gall to ask us to elect Hillary to fix the damage their own crime bill caused.

As for Gary Johnson, if your not allowed into the debates you may as well not be on the ballot. If there is one thing that always gets bipartisan support its rules/laws that makes it harder for third parties to get elected. The commission that decides who gets into the debates lost the lawsuit by Gary Johnson's campaign btw. Not that it does any good now. Sadly it doesnt even matter if my guy runs in the major parties they just rig the primaries against them. Far more people chose "none of the above" by not voting than actually voted for either Trump or Hillary.

Take note, it is telling no one ran against Bill Clinton in 1996 opposing the Crime Bill

The crime bill was of its time. Agree or disagree but recognize with the advantage of hindsight.

I agree with you on whether or not it deserved to see the light of day, that was 20 years ago. We get to see the effects - pols of 1994 did not have the same tool we have

In fact, I don't know the political climate is all that different today than it was then . Witness the politics of Muslim Ban or border wall . I would argue the same dynamic that gave us the Crime Bill gave us a Trump Presidency.

I remember the wails from (R) over midnight basketball. It would serve you well to see who fought for what in the bill and who stood on which side during the legislation

Gary Johnson did not qualify for the debates - he had 4 years to prepare for a Presidential run. Laid no ground work to speak of and did not muster the necessary percentage to make the stage.

Neither did I

How much of that none of the above can be attributed to the FBI revelations in the last weeks ?

We'll never know

member that time Bill Clinton gave a speech deploring the mass incarceration of blacks right before he signed a bill for the 100-1 sentencing disparity between crack and cocaine? I member.

Joe Biden quote at the time "If a law was proposed to wrap jaywalkers legs with barbed wire, it would be passed"

I assure you there was someone fighting against this **** who didnt need the benefit of hindsight or the need to cower to public opinion to win an election. You might have heard of him.

I have researched the 94 crime bill 10 times over. There is very little I dont know about it, including who voted for it. It did take a lot of negotiating and some of the people who voted for it called the bill terrible but voted for it because of the assault weapon ban and/or increased sex crime penalties. My guy wasnt in office but he was fighting the good fight way back in 88 when public opinion could not have been more against him.

Your point is moot -- she lost. For all intent and purposes tending to her grandchildren the rest of her life

Isnt she going to run the Clinton Foundation and give paid speeches now that she has all this free time? I am sure the donors are just lining up.

what is this creepy obsession with a 69 year old ex-pol ?

" ... I put her down back there while you are still carrying her "

The official name is
Clinton Derangement Syndrome

applies to those that are obsessed with all things Clinton, whether they are in the limelight or not

Origin?
Rushbo and the Dittoheads

Amusing that people can't see how corrupt the Clinton's were. Used public office to enrich themselves and libs areally a OK with that

On March 6 2017 the only people on earth talking about Hillary Rodham Clinton are you, Cajun and thethe

And you.

And, like ~15 million people (according to Google).

And Tom Perez.

He's talking about her a lot actually, because she got him his job.

Hillary Clinton can't stay out of the limelight.

Now, why you are interested in shoving her into the closet is a far more fascinating discussion to have.

It's obvious republicans are ok with it

Why can't the pubs be ok with it in your view?
