I thought that's where he was going with that, too. But I'm surprised that he was not pressed further on that comment by the Republicans because it's a hell of a thing to say.

I love how we've found ourselves at a point where it's a moment of triumph for the President of the United States when a testimony only goes so far as to suggest he's a liar that implied he wanted the FBI Director to make an investigation go away.

You think trump is the first president to direct an FBI investigation? We just learned the Obama administration did the same exact thing.
