I read a news article earlier today that basically said Bolton is going to clean house of anyone "not loyal" to the president. Hopefully Trump tires of his mustache before another war starts.

Part of it is we've had several high profile mass shootings in the last year. We've also seen on video the faces of the victims with gunfire in the background. The number of "gun deaths" have gone up the last two years after staying relatively stable the previous three years. It is still far higher than I'd like to see. It also doesn't help that the number of people who know someone who was killed by gun violence is at approximately 40-44%. People are sick of seeing loved ones killed by crazy people with access to guns.

That being said, I do think the Democrats should have done something on gun violence when they had the chance. They went all-in for healthcare and while many people benefited from it, I do wish they had reintroduced the assault weapons ban.

after the 2013 vote with a (R) Congress, ----- what for ?
From that point going forward, it would have been the same lame ass theatrics of (R) House voting to end ACA 40 or 60 times.

If you want an assault weapon ban, vote for it!!
By supporting candidates willing to buck the NRA and their money.

But the wall is a cheap sustainable method to protect our borders as well.

So what you're saying is a wall will not be under the purview of national defense? That the military budget is not tasked to be allocated to ensure said defense?

Listen, I don't know what authority we have now to build th wall through the military but I'd imagine people aren't talking about it for ****s and giggles.

Let's get some reserve troops working on that today.
