The Trump Presidency

The bill was designed to lower taxes, and it did for the great majority of people

Of course, tax refunds are irellevant to that fact

Yup, i just found it amusing about the refunds part even though refunds are a bad thing.

refunds aren't a "bad thing"

there are people who are seriously just bad at saving money or other things and count on that refund each year as almost like a bonus that they don't get from their job

yes, to not owe or get back is technically what you want i guess but it isn't "bad thing" to get a refund

Do I understand this right.

Had a state voted for and supports DJT you will get disaster aid
If not, you will be harassed and short changed

Do I understand that right ?
..................

Disaster aid is now a political tool

Hmmm

While Ivanka recently told ABC News that her father had “no involvement” in her or Kushner's security clearances, sources told CNN it was “feasible” Ivanka was “unaware” of the “red flags” in her security clearance process or Trump's involvement in granting her one. White House press secretary Sarah Sanders told CNN that the White House did not comment on security clearances. The White House also reportedly denied a request from the House Oversight Committee for documents pertaining to “the security clearance process,” which will increase the chances of a subpoena from the committee.

Trump guilty of abuse of power? Looks like it. Kushner had ZERO expertise or experience in foreign policy but plenty of financial reason to try to take advantage of his position.

We need to figure out how Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is somehow tied into all this.

That might be an apt analogy if Trump became a politician at a young age and made a big splash based on actual ideas, instead of based on racists talking points taken straight from right wing talk shows.

When did Trump become a racist? There’s pictures of him and every black leader in the 1980’s and 90’s together, basically holding hands.

Because a publicity hound took some pictures with well known blacks, he's not a racist?

Does anyone know if these local election results ever foreshadow the upcoming years?

this just isn't true at all unless it is somehow 4 special elections in 2019

But the most hard-fought victories may have come in purple states where chambers didn’t flip but seats did, narrowing Republican majorities. Examples include North Carolina, where Democrats flipped 16 seats across the state House and Senate; Texas, where 14 seats went blue; and Pennsylvania, where Democrats won a total of 19 seats that had been occupied by Republicans.

The party also pulled out big victories across state legislatures, flipping six chambers, turning others purple, and shoring up its supermajorities in still more.

Federal budget deficit ballooned in first four months of 2019, up 77% from a year ago as tax revenue plummeted and government spending went up. Treasury Dept figures show deficit hitting $310 billion, up from $176 billion.

I have heard if they get enough evidence of criminal activity in the Trump Organization they could civil asset forfeiture it and Trumps personal accountd/assets. I need this in my life. Nothing satisfies me more than seeing a "tough on crime" person gets it used on them.
