Wait. I thought the Dems created the KKK. But the KKK is against Communism. Don't they know that the Dems are nothing but fascist communists.

I was told that the KKK today are Democrats, not Republicans.

The left in the US is basically the opposition party. It seeks only to lessen the thumb pressure of the ruling class it sees as oppressive and unfair. The reason the policies from the left seem flawed is because the system basically opposes them, like Windows software on an Apple computer.

Thucydides Trap is playing out in the American electorate and the White Right knows with the changing demographics, its greasy grasp on power is slipping. That's why they've gone to war with Democracy itself. Ironically, Hillary would've been a much better President for the status quo. Trump is weakening the govt apparatus and the system he claims to be leading, speeding up whatever showdown is coming. Its very possible to win the early battles and still lose the war. If there is another civil war I hope Trump is still in power because I don't think the military supports him.

The left is the group who wants power control. All of their proposed solutions is giving more power to the government, and the individual less liberty.

Literally every single proposal

Just to summarize.. "KKK is anti -communist, Republicans are anti-communist. Therefore Republicans are pro-KKK" is your thought process and you see no problem with that.

And the Right doesn't want to hold onto power? What's the difference? You either support the oppressors or the oppressed. I believe strongly in personal liberty, but to a point. Do you only see a Left controlled government as less liberty for you because you're of the white, privileged class?

That both the KKK and Republicans were/are afraid of communism says a lot about their mental capacities. I think within the heart of the fear of communism lies a nugget of guilt from knowing the capitalism is basically unfair.

It's pretty obvious, the Modern Day Republican Party's goal is to run and mismanage government so badly that people will by default just say ok government is useless. They don't actually want to govern and have bipartisanship to get anything done.

Their complaints about the national debt and deficit are nearly non-existent since Trump became President.

The 9/11 Responders Bill is probably the easiest thing Trump could have ever jumped on and score the easiest poltical points for. The dude sucks up to military and law enforcement voters on a daily basis. This is the biggest slam dunk he could ever have.

If he campaigned on it tomorrow, nobody would complain because it's the most bipartisan thing ever.

Yet, he can't even do that. He's the President, from New York with his building blocks away in Manhattan from the Twin Towers. He could shame Mitch McConnell into putting it up for vote and win politically.

Instead, McConnell defers to Rand Paul to block the bill. Again, something that's a no-brainer like this that can't even make it through the Senate, is more proof that the GOP are trying to sabotage the government and mismanage it so badly that people will just give up on it ever working. Yet we know how many times the GOP has used 9/11 as a tragedy to score political points and continue wars and legalize discrimination on muslims, etc.

They had control of both chambers for 2 years and did zero to fix the deficit or debt.
