Of course the right wants power. All government is power and that's why we should not be so eager to give them more.
But the rights proposals dont call for complete government takeover of healthcare, education, energy, etc.
Everything the left proposes is more government control.

Regarding violence, the left has aligned themselves with ANTIFA. Lefty journalists have called for throwing milkshakes at any non socialist. What we saw at yesterday's rally is that Trump is simply a manifestation of a xenophobic racist part of the population that has always been there. People like George Wallace have been their champions in the past and Trump is but the latest in that distinguished lineage. Only difference is he has surpassed people like Wallace by actually making it to the Oval Office. People who attend his rallies and wear the garb are not there to express support for tax cuts and the rights of the unborn. Those who are animated by tax cuts and right to life ought to reflect on this alliance they have entered into.

During his Presidential campaign, McCain heard people calling Obama a Muslim and (like Trump) they wrongfully accused Obama of not being a natural born US Citizen. McCain immediately rebuked such remarks. That's what a true American and an even better man does in such a situation.
