The Walking Dead

In the comics Negan kills Glenn with his baseball bat Lucille (the pictures Glenn were looking at on the wall).

I think the show would be more devastating if Negan killed a pregnant Maggie right in front of Glenn. Looks like Carol may be on her way out as well. Then again they've teased Glenn's death several times from Terminus all the way to the dumpster thing. They've been kind of foreshadowing it.

If so the last episode was way too obvious -- making cookies for everyone, kissing a new guy, "Those (cigarettes) will kill you", her philosophical moments, protecting Maggie, etc.

I'd hate to see Carol get it. she used to be one of the worst characters now she's one of the most badass. I think Negan might kill Morgan too.

Carol escaped but it looks like her psyche may have had enough. Both her and Maggie seem more mentally frazzled than usual.

Carol's breakdown, switch, whatever you want to call it, seems a little abrupt. But I guess she's spent a little more time off screen lately.

Seems to me that the conflict with Morgan coupled with the little boy's death (can't remember his name) may have caused this change in thinking

That was really a bizarre damn episode.

Definitely a wasted filler episode.

Denise's death nobody is gonna cry over. It's amazing she became the doctor after one semester of psychiatric courses.

I'm not rwally understanding the Carol thing. How she goes from badass to weak.

The Carol thing really is off. She's my favorite character, and this doesn't fit at all.

I'm not that invested in the show, but I didn't think it was that bad an episode for a couple of reasons. First, it showed the difficulty of some to adjust to the new reality (Denise and Eugene). Second, there was an interesting conflict near the end of the episode.

I wonder if they are polling the audience to determine who lives and who dies. I remember when two characters were introduced in the second or third season of "Lost" and they had an interesting start to a story arc but then were killed off rather unceremoniously. When asked "Why?" the show runners' basic answer was "The focus groups hated them."

What I'm thinking is that Carol changed when she killed the Wolve's member who ended up saving Denise. The inner struggle she was fighting after the prison, returned once she realized Morgan was right about him and rhat no one is too far gon and you don't have to kill them.

Although they love to swerve off the comics when it suits them. Glenn's death there at the hands of Negan seems to fit where this is going.

This show is just constantly one step forward, two steps back. Writing is lazy as ****. All these dumbass decisions made by everyone for convenience. I hope Negan kills all of them.

Im not one to expect perfection from the producers and all, but Daryl getting "snuck up on" in those open river bottom woods was an absolute joke. Glenn and Michonne too for that matter. Unless some guys were hit REALLY good (no not behind small trees) that just isn't going to happen.

The Walking Dead will never be in the upper echelon of television dramas, but all I ask is they be consistent. I would almost be comfortable betting they won't even show who Negan kills in the finale. They've sold out for higher ratings and focus groups.
