The Walking Dead

Welp.

Just read the leaked spoilers for Negan's victim.

He goes ham on Abraham who pops tall and takes it like a champ. Abraham makes a snark remark to him. Then he is deciding between Glenn and Daryl. Daryl screams for it to be him, then he goes ham on Glenn. Glenn screams Maggie's name one last time before he gets the final cut.

Interesting development...

Video has leaked on Youtube showing Maggie getting the bat. It's being speculated this is part of a dream sequence Rick has while Negan is screwing with him in the RV. But I did watch an extended video laying out a convincing case for why Maggie makes the most sense. I just don't see AMC going there.

Yeah it makes sense, but dunno if they'd do in a pregnant woman. Already did kids and others.

I read about it being those two a few months ago. I knew they filmed a death scene of everybody. Cool that they showed it like that.

Can't say I've ever had a television show have such an impact on me physically. Certainly more gruesome and gory than the past seasons

I knew the spoilers and was still distraught from watching it on tv.

The only thing that comforted me after the episode was seeing Lauren Cohan in that dress on Talking Dead.

Well-acted, well-directed, very poorly written.

The image of Glenn will stick with me for a long time. But I couldn't help but thinking his death felt incredibly cheap, empty, pointless and really only for shock value. If anything, I would have reversed the order. A character who has been with us from the beginning deserved a much better send-off. His whole fake death last year really ruined the much larger effect this could have had. It also cheapened the loss of Abraham because it felt like that was being rushed to get to Glenn. Writing will always be what keeps the show from greatness. They've got everything else down pretty well. Agreed 1,000 percent on Lauren Cohan. Dayummmm

Agreed. This show is still nowhere close to the Game of Thrones/Breaking Bad level we have seen lately

I don't expect quality from the walking dead. It's a guilty pleasure.

I wish we would have gotten a zombie show on HBO. Would have been much better than AMC.

I don't expect it to be top 10 of all time or anything, but give me something. A little bit of character development? Real reaction to the deaths? Not Rick getting ready to see Lori again. It was 100 percent about shock value and 0 percent about story.

The casting of Negan still feels lame to me, or maybe it's just the character, but he's such a cliched characature of a villain.

Carol was pure gold this episode. She might as well have been me in terms of wondering just what in the hell was going on. A tiger....lolololol.

The three seperate story lines are interesting, but slow developing. Although I do like seeing a whole episode on how all three are going. It just doesn't advance the plot a huge amount.

Negan's spot is brutal. I also never saw D being a "major" character.

Here we are just a few episodes in to Negans rule, and his schtick is already exhausting. Everything is a diatriabe and over acted like he has written all this down with all the inflection of his phrases and actions pre planned.

I am tired by it already.

Honestly this all could have been solved last night.

What they should have done easily, when Negan was at the gate have like 10 people with rifles ready to fire asap. He couldn't see if anyone was behind the gate. Open gate, and then BOOM. All his guys wouldn't have expected it.
