For what it’s worth, I never actually understood what the legal argument was going to be for not allowing this to come from Pentagon funding, and if we’re going to build the stupid thing, I cannot think of a better place for it to come from. Better for it to come from our bloated defense budget than from programs that help people. The only issue I have (besides the obvious wasting of money on a wall) is that I believe the money is being allocated from construction projects on bases and such, which harms the families of soldiers rather than decreasing our ability to blow up brown people in the Middle East.

Can you give one historical example of when a wall didn't work to secure those within the boundaries?
