Without even googling I can think of a few. For example, almost any successful siege involves a city walled in.
But even beyond that, Berlin Wall, didn't keep East German's safe, infact it was made to keep them hostage.

Talking with friends today none of us could make sense of why Mississippi during picking season:

a) a good number of those detained were in fact US citizens or legal green card holders
b) some were illegal -- yet hired by Koch Industries * correction - this is not a part of the Koch industries.*

Hispanic workers from the same plant in Mississippi
were specifically targeted by ICE raids?

donor & though majority of workers have work
visas -Koch Food Inc is being extorted for more
campaign contribution $. If they don’t donate pay,
Trump sends ICE to raid.
