His velocity is down too though, and the velocity/spin ratio is about the same as it was last year.

I think Smyly just isn’t that good, and for some reason the Braves bought into his 2020 sprint numbers. I wasn’t a fan of that signing the moment it happened, especially that early in the off-season.
