I read a couple reports that indicated his defense clearly improved last year after he dropped that weight. He's reportedly even slimmer and in better shape this year and has become something of a workout warrior, so it's possible he can play pretty good defense over there.

If he can, suddenly his prospects improve considerably. If he can OPS around .750 with average defense, he'll have a place for the next 2-3 years.

I'd rather have Collmenter in the rotation than Danks... but would rather have Folty in the rotation over both of them... actually would rather have new Blair or Wisler in there over those two as well.

If Danks makes the rotation, we have issues. It better be Folty. I understand why they added Colon and Dickey, but I don't really love that we picked up both of them. Wisler has earned the opportunity to sink or swim in the majors, IMO. I'm fine starting him in AAA, but there's not much of a positive in having him sit there until the deadline.

I'm sure injuries here and there will open up room, but I'd rather have two spots open than just one going in.
