I don’t have a kid, so no, I don’t want you to fund anything for me. I would like parents to get a voucher so they can use tax dollars to send their kid to the school of their choice, though.

Can I get a school tax refund since apparently I don’t have a dog in the fight? I’ll gladly consider shutting up if that’s the case…

You should believe in a woman's right to chose because it is her right to chose whether me you or the man behind the tree approve.

Your other 2 points speak to civil rights and equality.

Nscapi made me see the light earlier today - apparently I let the perfect be the enemy of the good. Maybe he can help you as well. Yes there are logistical issues to overcome with school choice. No they won’t be solved day one. Look to the areas that have implemented it, try to replicate what works, experiment. The bottom line is more choice = an improvement.m

Most criticisms of school choice compare it to an idealized version of education we don’t have versus the overpriced, ineffective, **** sandwich of a system we do have.

I'm all for experimentation. I am slam against privatization. Scratch the surface and learn that is the source of the School Choice Movement
Be it the Educational Industrial Complex or religious schools seeking public funding

The government is required to provide you with transportation to school, not to the school of your choice. This is already the case here. Parents who would prefer their kids go to a different county school request it. If there's room, the kid is enrolled there and transportation becomes the parents responsibility.
