Your periodic reminder that the FBI told us the biggest terror threat in America is white supremacists
We definitely need to empower them with the authority to tag private citizens with “warning labels” based on their online activity which we also empower them with the authority to monitor our online activity.

For the sake of the nation we should address the woke mind virus
I agree. But we have to do it systematically. This is why I was such an advocate for RDS. I felt he displayed a level of government competence that could move the needle nationally.

Trump is saying the right things and doing some exec orders, but until we go after the systems producing these lunatics (education and criminal justice), nothing will change

I’d think the answer is less of the FBI deciding who’s a threat based on their views rather than their actions, but I’m also infected with the woke mind virus so who knows.

Maybe - Just maybe the people in control that were making these 'threat' level assessments are part of a global organization that has ulterior motives for hte future of the country.

That couldn't possibly be true at all....

I agree that we need to see more action materialize from the rhetoric. I believe real investigations are being done and I believe additional actions will take place but until that happens its fair to say we need to see more.

I’m glad we can trust them now that we have rooted out the Deep State

I hope youre at least able to see how insane that was and it was all political

I think it’s actually a very apt parallel to what the right is advocating for right now. There has been an uptick in the past decade in political violence by people who are in white supremacist bubbles, just as there’s been an uptick in violence from people who are in a leftist bubble. Maybe the issue is what’s happening in these bubbles, not which bubbles they’re in.

1. Do you not believe what the right is doing now is overtly political? This was the fucking FBI

2. I sure would like to see all these examples of violence from "white supremacy" the FBI was tracking. Im aware of the Jussie Smollet and Bubba Wallace and Nicholas Sandman ones but any others?

1) Overtly might be strong, but it’s ideologically driven rather than empirically, as some the actions taken by Biden’s FBI was, and as has been the case since basically the dawn of the FBI. There’s an inescapable link between federal agencies and the people elected to fill them.

2) Don’t be obtuse. Dylann Roof, the Synagogue shooter, Aurora Colorado all spring to mind immediately. I still think the most obvious similarities between all the mass shootings are young men that are radicalized online by whichever community they vent in.

Im old enough to remember that Trump was impeached for "inciting violence"

Regardless of how legal or appropriate it is to enforce our immigration policies, I still don’t see how it’s inflammatory or controversial to suggest the tactics ICE has been using are authoritarian or aggressive. We’re basically sending the SWAT team in for every operation and they’re constantly finding themselves on camera being the exact kinds of cops that turn routine stops into massive escalations.

There is always a disconnect between the people that want people to stand on a wall and protect them vs how they want those people to defend them.

Sometimes ( unless you are willing to do it yourself) you don’t get to pick. And for the record, most of these guys are just trying to do the job and go home to their families. If they do it all mqts way most likely people get hurt.
