Another fun example of the left not even understanding the most basic economic concepts. Trump didn’t go in and raid the fucking coffers, we just have an enormous deficit. Revenue in is going to be depleted regardless of the actions of the Trump Administration.
If anything, Trump is right and the issue would be the idea of refunding the tariffs to begin with. With some limited exceptions, I cannot see the justification for the return of the funds. The costs have already been passed on to consumers, the jobs have been cut and the businesses have shut down. This would just represent a bailout for big companies. Just stop the illegal tariffs from continuing and move on.
