TLHLIM

Nobody needs to waste their time telling me if this is a good or bad thing because I am not a 14-year-old trying to have such a surgery.
Such a bullshit answer - Weak nonsense to not take a stand on kids getting their dicks chopped off.

Was your argument 5 seconds ago now "who am I to say if a double mastectomy on a 14 year old girl is bad, as I am not in need of such a procedure"

?
Feel free to find an explanation for why the medical community would develop and recommend a treatment plan for an individual to be raped (but also only once you turn 18) and then I’ll acknowledge your point.

The adult consensus in several countries that you want to immigrate here has made that determination

As a peer-reviewed treatment plan for a medical condition that’s been stated to be helpful by patients? Wow, news to me!

However, if you’re making a lazy societal norm argument, I’m not compelled. Hell, Female Genital Mutilation was right there on the table for you to use, and I don’t support that as a cultural ritual just because there’s a consensus.

why not? that's how you came to the conclusion for trans surgeries on kids. A group of adults came to a consensus and that was good enough for you (remember, you already said you don't use your own brain on this)

There’s such an obvious difference between accepting the consensus of people who studied, developed and reviewed a medical treatment plan that has been acknowledged by the patients of that treatment plan to have helped them and accepting the consensus of people following a cultural or religious norm that I find it pathetic for you to invite the comparison.

One simply cannot be an expert at all things, and this is once again not a situation that I can reliably form an opinion that isn’t informed by *some* consensus without devoting my life to studying it. Your only objection here is that I’ve not accepted the consensus you accept.

If AMA is changing their recommendations, what does that mean to you about the studies and data that previously led them to a different conclusion?

I guess I’d have to dig into why they changed their guidance first and see if any new evidence led to the change. Given my continued lack of demand for such services, I thankfully have no need to rush.

when did the U.S. pass a new tax law?

The most recent major new U.S. tax law was the One Big Beautiful Bill Act (also referred to as the Working Families Tax Cut or OBBBA, Public Law 119-21). It was signed into law by President Donald Trump on July 4, 2025.

To be fair, it’s easy to forget that this Congress has passed any laws.
