TLHLIM

Lindell looks more foolish each time he opens his mouth. He does make a nice pillow though. I sure enjoy mine.

But a certain poster here says it’s democrats, not republicans, who have shifted lol

The left hated the party of bush.

Now being different than that is a bad thing?

Bush is just upset we aren’t slaves to the corporatist ideology that sacrifices our citizens on the alter of shareholder value. **** them all.

The fact you can’t see that neither party is what it used to be and are governed by the far more radical is beyond my comprehension

Yeah. 20% of the country is running the show right now. That 20% decides primaries and with most districts safe, that's all that matters.

where have i said that a party hasn't moved?

this comment is full of false equivalency though to say both sides of the radicals of the party are similar though

Maybe for one party

But one party nominated Joe ****ing Biden. Literally the farthest thing that any radical leftist would ever dream of wanting

This is laughable. A blind man wearing sunglasses in the middle of the night could see that Dems have shifted radically left since the Pelosi era began. She's made San Fran leftism the center of the party, when it used to be the fringe. Trump is closer to Sam Nunn and Heath Shuler than he is to Reagan or either of the Bushes.

He still thinks GA just passed Jim Crow laws

What are the radical shifts the left have made?

The radical left wants healthcare, the right wants no gun laws and to make voting harder

They are the same shifts

Free healthcare, including gender transition and abortion, is part of the party platform now. Reparations are part of the party platform. My gosh, Bill Clinton supported DoMA. Shuler was a Blue Dog in the 90s and was pro-life. Now being pro-abortion is not only in the platform, their party chairman a few years ago flat out said you're not welcome in the party if you're pro-life.

Actually those aren’t on the party platform

You can read that here if you’d like: https://democrats.org/where-we-stand/party-platform/

I guess the democrats who aren’t pro abortion or whatever silly term you want to use

Aren’t democrats then

I’d link the Republican Party platform but they didn’t make one this last time and the whole plan was just “vote for trump”

DNC chairman Tom Perez:
“Every Democrat, like every American, should support a woman’s right to make her own choices about her body and her health,” Perez said in a statement. “That is not negotiable and should not change city by city or state by state.”

“At a time when women’s rights are under assault from the White House, the Republican Congress, and in states across the country,” he added, “we must speak up for this principle as loudly as ever and with one voice.”

The 2020 Democratic Party Platform:

Securing Reproductive Health, Rights, and Justice
Democrats are committed to protecting and advancing reproductive health, rights, and justice. We believe unequivocally, like the majority of Americans, that every woman should be able to access high-quality reproductive health care services, including safe and legal abortion. We will repeal the Title X domestic gag rule and restore federal funding for Planned Parenthood, which provides vital preventive and reproductive health care for millions of people, especially low-income people, and people of color, and LGBTQ+ people, including in underserved areas.

Democrats oppose and will fight to overturn federal and state laws that create barriers to reproductive health and rights. We will repeal the Hyde Amendment, and protect and codify the right to reproductive freedom. We condemn acts of violence, harassment, and intimidation of reproductive health providers, patients, and staff. We will address the discrimination and barriers that inhibit meaningful access to reproductive health care services, including those based on gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, race, income, disability, geography, and other factors. Democrats oppose restrictions on medication abortion care that are inconsistent with the most recent medical and scientific evidence and that do not protect public health.

We recognize that quality, affordable comprehensive health care; medically accurate, LGBTQ+ inclusive, age-appropriate sex education; and the full range of family planning services are all essential to ensuring that people can decide if, when, and how to start a family. We are proud to be the party of the Affordable Care Act, which prohibits discrimination in health care on the basis of sex and requires insurers to cover prescription contraceptives at no cost. These efforts have significantly reduced teen and unintended pregnancies by making it easier to decide whether, when, and how to have a child.

We believe that a person’s health should always come first. Democrats will protect the rights of all people to make personal health care decisions, and will reject the Trump Administration’s use of broad exemptions to allow medical providers, employers, and others to discriminate.

Not only am I not welcome if I disagree, they want to force me to pay for it too. Oh, and they'll toss in some taxpayer funded "it's totes natural for Timmy to want to be Tammy" in my kid's school while they're at it.

The party has lost it's mind.
