It’s early and I can’t tell if you’re joking. Do you seriously think pedophilia is a left vs. right issue?
Also, I think there’s a small kernel of a valid point in this professor’s idea. If someone is out there struggling with an attraction to minors, a different terminology might be helpful in getting them to come forward for help. I would still throw the book at any pedophile that acted on their urges, but if treating just the urges alone with compassion led to more people getting help, I’d call that a win. I’d very much stop at that, though.

Seriously…I see a statue, 95% of the time I walk right by, the other 5% I read the plaque, say “hmm, that’s interesting,” then totally never think about it again. The amount of angst wasted on statues is beyond me.
I was at an Italian national team game in Rome a couple of years ago and had to laugh at the giant Mussolini obelisk outside the stadium thinking how that would go over in the States.

This exactly. If a dude's attracted to children that's perfectly fine. Everyone of is sees people we want to **** but cant for different reasons. The only issue is if these people cant control themselves. Theres plenty of women out there that are kid sized. I know when I see one I immediately think their BF is a pedo.

If by “pushing homosexuality” you mean teaching children about different groups, that’s not pedophilia. If by “pushing homosexuality” you mean people are trying to get children to be homosexual, that’s still not pedophilia, and also isn’t happening. If by “pushing homosexuality” you mean gay people are coercing children of the same gender to have sexual relations with them, that would be pedophilia, but it’s also not happening.
