I know we have pretty unreconcilable differences on this, but I’ve found this particular argument to be the weakest. Do people really think Thomas went through the process of transitioning genders specifically for a competitive edge in swimming? The amount of harassment and ridicule alone would seemingly preclude anybody from competing with women just to win a women’s competition. I can understand the argument if it’s merely to point out how much better men are at swimming, but I’ve seen many say that Thomas transitioned specifically to win.

Well, she has definitively referenced "women" in many of her rulings, so I think we need to understand how she came to the conclusion in the past.
Maybe she consulted a biologist for each ruling. Do we need to add a biologist to the supreme court? Is that what all the court packing talk is about?

I don't care about the bill. I'd define it as a bunch of tight wad snowflakes scared of the changing world.
Let's handle this for real, like real grown ass adults. If a teacher wants to talk about a mommy and a daddy loving each other that's OK because it's a straight relationship. But what if Billy has 2 mommy's who love each other and asks about that. Is the teacher just handcuffed to say "you can ask your teacher about that in the 4th grade" or if they acknowledge it's possible they could be sued, come down on, whatever the punishments are.
I don't really care about the law because it doesn't effect me. I also am a firm believer in Parents getting ahead of School in things in fostering child growth where they can. My parents had me doing all kinds of things learning related before they were touched on in school.
I can't vouch for anyone else but going through a catholic school system from the 90s to the 00s I do regret how I talked to fellow students who are gay or maybe aren't. Basically belittling them for not being the standard I believed people should be held to because that's my standard to be me. Not theirs and it was alevel of immaturity it would have been nice to told to keep in balance.
I think my biggest gripe to this law is basically it legally could add stress to someone at a developing age that I don't really think is fair to them. I don't think it's a big deal personally. I think calling it an anti-grooming bill is comical as **** though.

It's especially ironic coming from the Alt-Right crowd who's hero Milo once said.
