Top 10 Atlanta Braves Trades: One Opinion

Where does Fried start at in 2016 and how fast does he move? I'm excited to see him pitch just about more than any pitching prospect the Braves have...

No one knows, we'll all just have to wait and see.

Personally, I think he starts at either Rome or Carolina, but I think Carolina is where we'll let him stay until he proves he can handle it. Ideally, I think you could see him move to AA by midseason, but that may be optimistic. We just have to see how he bounces back, it usually take a while to fully get back after TJ.

I know some are going to point out that Schmidt did pretty well for the Bucs. We were in win now mode at the time though.

That sounds like something you could have written about the JD Drew trade, but I don't think it will end up on any top 10 lists.

Jair Jurrjens was a more valuable pitcher than Neagle before he burned out, and we didn't have to give up a future ace for him. I'd definitely rank that trade higher.

Jurrjens deal is definitely one to rethink. THe list came together pretty quickly.

A trade that's a day old and is all prospects can't be the 3rd best trade ever

Inciarte was 5th in rookie of the year voting and fills a principal need, and No. 1 overall picks don't grow on trees. But thanks for a valid point.
