If we can’t get a good SP then Hader would be my next choice. A lockdown closer with Iglesias in the 8th would set the bullpen up very nicely.

The Scherzer deal is pending his approval, but there are multiple reports that is not the only sticking point on the deal. Sounds like the Rangers want to be sure that he is with them next year as well, but not at $43m. So sounds like they are trying to negotiate a deal with him.

Looked em up, and he's 21 in AA. Good player, but not Ronald 2.0. Didn't want Mets getting a Ronald level player
