Meh. Flaherty is another guy that's not going to start over Morton or Elder in the playoffs.

We have Iglesias, Yates, Anderson, Minter and Hand with closing experience. If they perform we have a very solid bullpen.

I’m not pleased with AA. I get we’re really good, but not filling some of these roster holes isn’t ideal.

I think it's really pretty good honestly.
Two major holes addressed.
If the Braves are not healthy in the rotation they'll have to pull some smoke any way you look at it.
None of the dudes being discussed except maybe Verlander would have changed that.
Chapman a while ago.

I mean, Monty and Flaherty didnt go for an insane return. But who knows what St Louis wanted from us?
Those are the only two that would have made a true difference.
Team is strong and a clear tier above everyone else in the league.
They are also the same tier of pitcher that Morton and Elder are.
I get making a move for Fried insurance but the team seems pretty confident that he's going to be back to normal.
Grissom is gonna be the top trade chip this offseason.
Like Lango, Pache, and Contreras were previously.
Other than LF, our lineup is already set for 2024. Grissom can be more valuable in the offseason if AA doesn't want to go the free agency route to fill LF spot.
He can also be used to acquire a starting pitcher as well.
We have the best record in baseball, and while Rosario gives me a headache when he sucks, he is a big part of the team chemistry and is also a fan favorite. AA is big on clubhouse chemistry, which is why he hasn't gotten rid of Snit yet and followed the trend of going for a young analytics minded manager.
Not replacing your 7th hitter in the deepest offense in MLB... isn't the worst thing to happen. If we can only get the FO to force Snit to use Pillar or Hilliard as a defensive replacement for Rosario, we would be good.

Come the offseason AA will have some discussions to make with the SP. Fried will only have 1 more year, Wright’s shoulder will be a ?, does Morton keep going?, imo we will need a TOR starter in the offseason for sure. Who knows what the Sox were asking for Cease but I bet it was a haul.

Not upset about the deadline. I feel our pen is better. I like taking those guys out of colorado. The Braves were never going to go crazy. The roster was set pretty much. Once wright and fried are healthy the rotation will be set. Just not enough roster spots to add. Actually surprised they got hand. Nothing special but another roster decision that will have to be addressed in the near future.
