Trade targets?

The tigers have shown time and time again they will waste the value of any SP holding out for unreasonable returns, and then the SP will lose all value.

I would not bother engaging with that organization.

Man... feel like we need an OF, SP, and some sort of IFer now (whether that's Nacho or not... hard to just rely on a rookie wildcard who's never played 2B)

Tampa seems to be a clear match for us... but not sure if we have anything that will interest them for Efflin and Arozarena

Nobody the Braves have the ammo to acquire will be obviously better than nacho. He is the clear move for 2B, even if it means Arcia goes to 2B.

The rotation is good enough that, again, with no ammo to make a move, the AAAA arms are nearly as good as whatever AA can afford to acquire.

OF is still the spot where a low end MLB caliber hitter improves the team, and that guy should be cheap to acquire.

I don't think Eflin will be too expensive to acquire and I think he certainly improves the team. We are an injury from Sale or Lopez away from a rotation disaster... that's a bit precarious given Sale's health history and Lopez's innings

Just my opinion but if your top three pitchers, your best player and your starting 2b all get injured, you probably shouldn't be trying too hard to overcome it.

I don’t even want to type it, but if any of the three remaining impact SPs get injured there is nothing AA wilk be able to do to recover.

This has been a disastrous season in terms of injuries. No roster could realistically survive it, but this one just might…barely.

Max is quoted saying it's "nothing serious". I'll take em at his word, and assume AA took full advantage of a chance to save some inning s

So more than likely Fried will be back in September amd so will Ozzie. I wouldnt be surprised to see them do something to Sale and Lopez at some point to get them rest. We may have to use Waldrep to get us what we need at the deadline.

snit is going to lean even more on them now. Would be surprised if Sale’s arm or body makes it to when Fried returns.
