TRHFIM

Are we also going to ignore that presidents typically lose the congress over the course of their presidency and trump lost less than history dictates?

How about the tremendous gains at state houses all over the country?

This narrative that trump destroyed the republican party is cognitive dissonance and it’s the media’s new narrative because they know it would have been a landslide had covid not happened and or they didn’t have hundreds of millions of money flowing through from big tech to effectively buy votes.

Why should republicans elected officials still be defending the American first agenda? Because their voters overwhelmingly support it. Enough of the garbage principled nonsense as if it actually means anything. You either represent your voters or you lose your positions.

Wait, aren't you Jewish? Do you know the history behind the whole "America First" movements in American History?

I expect Pence to step up and release enough dirt that Trump will realize he has no shot. He'll be sacrificing any Presidential hopes he may have, but he's the type who would do it anyway.

You're probably right, but since when did any Trumpbots believe any dirt on Trump? It didn't/doesn't matter if they can watch it happening right in front of their eyes in HD, all he has to do is say "Fake News" and they fall right back in line.

I don't think Adam is quite right. The party has to find a way to bring both wings together. It strikes me that in states like Ohio and Pennsylvania where there will be competitive races for both governor and senate, the Republikaners © would be well-served to nominate one mainstream candidate and one trumpy candidate. Try to get turnout from both groups.

Dems have comparable balancing acts between mainstream and activist wings. Plus geography is important in states like Ohio and PA. In PA both parties would ideally have one nominee from western PA and one from Philadelphia or its suburbs. Ohio has both a north/south and east/west divide in terms of culture and politics. The voters have final say in the primaries, but to the extent party officialdom can "rig" things they want balance along a variety of dimensions in those states.

Where Adam is right is with respect to 2024. I think it would be bad for the party and country to nominate very poorly chosen one again.

Who cares about history when this most recent movement was the most inclusive in the political rights history. Trump has also been the most pro Jewish president of my lifetime so even the insinuation just proves how effective the media was at brainwashing the population.

It’s very easy.

Without an unprecedented movement to buy votes from big tech and unconditional changes to election laws trump would be president.

We will see how well Adam does next time around as trump and his people promote America first candidates.

Looks like a jilted lover response and yet again the constituency has a different outlook then the elected representative. These politicians used trump to get elected because their normal stance is unelectable.

I suppose birds of a feather flock together, but the vast majority of Trump voters I know were and are aware of his faults. It was just their opinion that he was a better option than the current Democratic party. "Trumpism without Trump" is a pretty popular stance right now.

Well you should. Stay away from the Kool-Aid and the shiny objects and seek to learn the deeper truths .

I wouldn’t go around throwing around “deeper truths” like that. Makes ya sound uppity, and we don’t do uppity folk round these parts

What deeper truths? One party in this country is openly hostile to Israel while another supports their sovereignty.

Who is actually committing hate crimes against Jewish people in the US right now?

Dude I saw pics of at least 2 far right hate groups represented with the "see you at the capitol get together" on January 6th. In fact most of your big time Jew hating clubs are far right and all of them that I know of loved the Trumpster.

Hey, I'm one of those lazy, do-nothing worthless POS sit around with my thumb up my arse teachers. Seeking deeper truths is a big part of what I do. Not that it does me a hell of a lot of good.

They don’t represent the actual political party while the mainstream position of the democrats is one that is hostile towards Israel. Even now the Biden administration is going to open up talks with Iran which outwardly funds terrorist groups whose sole purpose is to wipe Israel off the face of the earth so get out of here with your fringe hate group with a membership in the double digits.

Odd that you’ve also ignored the group of people that specifically target Jews in NY. Want to guess what political party they most likely vote for?
