The special purpose grand jury recommended charges against Lindsey Graham, David Perdue and Kelly Loeffler as well. Would be a shame for Lady G to go to prison. He would probably like it.
 
Trumps lawyers filed a motion asking Judge Chutkan to recuse herself from the DC case because she said in sentencing for 2 Jan 6 terrorists that the person who planned the attacks had not been charged. Bold for Trumps lawyers to assume that she was talking about Trump. Pretty sad when even your own lawyers think you are guilty.
 
Interesting defense strategy to have his lawyers effectively confess to his crimes like this. Certainly a new one.
 
Trump loses in court yet again. His lawyers asked Judge Cannon who Trump appointed to be able to review the classified documents at his residence rather than being required view them in a SCIF. To the surprise of no one he lost that motion.

I dont even understand your logic. The trials look to be happening before the election. Most of the charges are an open and shut case. His only option to not go to prison is to win and pardon himself. I will give him a slim chance of beating the RICO and Jan 6 charges but he will be convicted in NY and the documents case 100% barring some crazy person like you gets on the jury. You or me would go to prison for the NY case but I am not going to hold my breath on that one even if convicted. The documents case absolutely will get him prison time because its not just the documents its obstruction. He can claim ignorance and maybe get off light on the documents but the obstruction charge makes his criminal intent clear.
 
He'll likely get convicted in all these cases.

The rubber will hit the road when the first conviction occurs. From the current court schedule this will probably be sometime in April in the case before Judge Chutkan. I have a feeling she's not going to allow him to be at liberty while appealing. He'll probably be led off in handcuffs as soon as the jury returns a guilty verdict. Then the grand poobahs of the GOP will have to make a choice. Go ahead and nominate some guy who is in the slammer or move on.

He should try to enjoy the next seven months. After that his range of activities will be greatly reduced.

I guess they expect that March 4th trial to be over by the start of the March 25th trial. I agree Judge Chutkan isnt likely to give him an appeals bond. Heres how I see it playing out. After Trump is convicted in the March 4th trial they will set a date for sentencing. Trump will go on an absolute rampage trying to rile up the crazies to do something which will cause Judge Chutkan to move up the sentencing date. I have always said if theres a real chance of Trump goes to prison thats when the crazy **** will really happen. I think the chances have lessened now that the Michigan and J6 terrorists didnt escape justice. They cry about it but it has significantly lowered the chances of a full blown terrorist attack by MAGA crazies.
 
No doubt the sentences in the January 6 and Michigan cases will be powerful deterrents for any would be chuckleheads.
