Trump Indictment Watch

You know that a small portion even discussed the merits of the case. IT was all procedural nonsense that makes it almost impossible to even challenge an election.

Its these types of lies that will be outed in front of the world during the trial.

Massive mistake by the communists.

This about sums up the court cases.

Judge - "are you alledging you have proof of fraud"

Trump Lawyer - "no, but we think if you grant us discovery we will find some"

Judge - "So thats a no, case dismissed"

Not going to read your word vomit because the first sentence clearly shows you didn’t read.

Trump. Should. Be. Held. Accountable. If. He. Broke. The. Law.

I will hold him accountable by not voting for him.

Seriously, y’all are crazy.

No dude, say what you mean then because your first post was complete BS. The only people making it political are Republicans and this is in no way shape or form a witch hunt. Dont come here saying its a witch hunt then get mad when people **** on you. A precedent of criminals being prosecuted for breaking the law is not a bad precedent.

My first post was that Trump should be indicted if he broke the law.

Personally I wouldn’t mind if we enforced laws across the board. Indict Trump. That’s fine. But also indict the rest of the bunch that break laws.

That can be true while also accepting that he’s being targeted because he’s Biden’s political rival. You’re welcome to disagree with that opinion.

Can you quote me from your first post where you day that because I reread it and you said this political, a witch hunt, and that Trump isn't helping himself. Which sentence should I have interpreted as "Trump should he prosecuted of he broke the law".

Obviously I can't prove he isn't being targeted for being Bidens political rival because I can't access an alternate reality where he isn't running again but I vigorously disagree. He is running specifically to make this defense you believe. He announced his candidacy months before he even started campaigning which was not beneficial to him because of campaign finance laws. Why do you think he did that if not to push the false narrative that he is being targeted for running against Biden. Beyond that Trump ran on prosecuting his political rivals and has consistently encouraged it. The Hunter Biden prosecution is 1000% politically motivated and specifically because he is Bidens son. He is still a crook who should go to prison.

If you want me to agree that Republicans care so much about Hunter Biden because he’s Joe’s kid, sure. I think that’s obvious.

I did. The most interesting new thing I learned is Pence took contemporaneous notes and the prosecution had access to at least some of them.

Interesting to see one of very poorly chosen one's lawyers saying tonight that all he did was ask Pence to pause the electoral vote count for ten days

My favorite part of Pence's notes are where Trump tells him "You're too honest". Also the part where Trump purposely doesn't invite White House counsel to a meeting with Pence because he knows the WH counsel is going to tell Pence what Trump is asking isn't legal.

Yes remand it to the states for addditonal inspection. That’s all that was asked and anyone that was following the play by play said the same. At no point was there an expectation that pence would award the presidency to trump. That’s a stupid mans posts (Cajun).

"As the January 6 congressional certification proceeding approached and other
efforts to impair, obstruct, and defeat the federal government function failed, the Defendant sought
to enlist the Vice President to use his ceremonial role at the certification to fraudulently alter the
election results. The Defendant did this first by using knowingly false claims of election fraud to
convince the Vice President to accept the Defendant’s fraudulent electors, reject legitimate
electoral votes, or send legitimate electoral votes to state legislatures for review rather than count
them. When that failed, the Defendant attempted to use a crowd of supporters that he had gathered
in Washington, D.C., to pressure the Vice President to fraudulently alter the election results. "

If you had read the indictment you would know that that was Plan C. First they asked Pence to reject the real electors and accept the fake electors. When he said "I cant do that" Trump told him "just send it back to the states". The VP has none of those options. The Republican state speakers had repeatedly told Trump there was no fraud and they couldnt overturn their results. Your boy had struck out on about 100 false allegations of voter fraud. This was the most investigated federal election in US history. There was no option other than trying to pressure Republican state legislators to falsely overturn their results based on lies if it had gone back to the states. Even now after more investigation has been done your side has found nothing.

"On December 26, Co-Conspirator 4 spoke on the phone with the Acting Attorney
General and lied about the circumstances of his meeting with the Defendant at the White House,
falsely claiming that the meeting had been unplanned. The Acting Attorney General directed CoConspirator 4 not to have unauthorized contacts with the White House again, and Co-Conspirator 4 said he would not. The next morning, on December 27, contrary to the Acting Attorney General’s
direction, Co-Conspirator 4 spoke with the Defendant on the Defendant’s cell phone for nearly
three minutes. "

I loved this part. DoJ officials are not supposed to have unauthorized contact with the President. Jeffrey Clark lied and said a meeting he had with Trump was unplanned. DoJ told him not to have any further unauthorized contact with the President. Then talked to Trump that very next morning on the phone.....

"The Defendant had a right, like every American, to speak publicly about the
election and even to claim, falsely, that there had been outcome-determinative fraud during the
election and that he had won. He was also entitled to formally challenge the results of the election
through lawful and appropriate means, such as by seeking recounts or audits of the popular vote
in states or filing lawsuits challenging ballots and procedures. Indeed, in many cases, the
Defendant did pursue these methods of contesting the election results. His efforts to change the
outcome in any state through recounts, audits, or legal challenges were uniformly unsuccessful. "

Paragraph 3 of the indictment recognizes that Trump has the right to say what he wants about the election even the right to lie. For those of you who buy into the fake news narrative that this is about first amendment protected speech Jack Smith agrees Trump had the right to lie about the election. Thats not what this case is about. If it is then Trump should have an easy time defending himself with this paragraph written by the prosecutor.

Heres a hint for people if you are under indictment. Dont send your lawyer on TV to admit your guilt. Trumps lawyer went on Newsmax and just said Trump wanted to stop the certification to send it back to the states. When you are accused of trying to stop the lawful certification of the vote thats not a good thing to admit. They want to claim he just wanted to get to the truth but the indictment shows time and again that when faced with the truth Trump didnt care. Time and again the people most biased in his favor told him they checked out his claims and found them inaccurate. And not one time did he stop trying to use what he was just told was false as being true. How does one say that person just wanted to get to the truth. The only truth he would accept is that he won the election. Even if something like 100k dead people voted or 100k illegal people voted we would have to identify each vote and who they voted for. You cant just say "well 10k dead people voted so subtract 10k from Biden". Thats not how that would even work if it was true.
