Uggla released; Pasotornicky called up

The one thing that gets me with this whole situation is how there was really nothing else the Braves could do. *If* the Braves were allowed to send him down, there's a chance he could have gotten his swing back in the minors and at least been able to try to work through it. If anything that might have made him a decent bench player. But the Braves either had to sit him, play him, or release him. So he wouldn't except being DFA'd, but if her gets released there's no way another team is going to take him on their ML team. So he goes to the minors anyway. It's just all silly.

Sucks to see him decline like he was but a move that had to be done.

Were basically playing with one less guy on the bench every night.

Best of luck to him, class act.

Just saw the clip of Chip and Tom talking about it and they referenced that something happened in Chicago any idea what happened.

On Saturday, Dan did not show up until an hour before first pitch. That's why he was suspended Sunday and Gosselin called up.

Hope Miami signs him and he goes off against us.

Just show Wren how stupid he is.

I still say I wonder if the incident was on purpose to hasten this outcome. Breaking team rules is out of character for Dan. I just hope he doesn't land in the East, the baseball gods make funny things happen.

I suspect he was trying to force the action.

Dumb move by Dan to force the action.

He could've won a world series this year riding the bench and making 13 million without lifting the bat off his shoulder or hitting another homerun. Now he'll just have to watch instead.
