Unrealistic but "fair" trade proposals???

Kimbrel, Carson Smith, Uehara, Tazawa is awfully tough.

Bradley, Betts, Castillo has a chance to be the best defensive OF in the game. Bradley is unbelieveable. Pedroia is still Pedroia. Bogaerts has improved quite a bit. Hanley and Sandoval are question marks, but Panda's proven adequate in the past and supposedly has worked much harder this winter. They may not be as good overall defensively as the Royals, but their rotation is better and their pen is somewhat comparable. Defense isn't going to kill them.

could be a good team.. thanks.. like I said, they were rather meh last year so I paid no attention to them really... I only have so much space to store baseball knowledge..lol..

I really believe a lock down pen is better than having 2 aces and a bunch of Meh after that.... I just think a pen of 4 or 5 really good pitchers can get you really far..

In the playoffs give me the aces.

The pen is just too volatile to put a ton of resources there IMO.

Boston was very quietly one of the best teams in baseball during the second half (18-9 in August) and added Price, Kimbrel, and Smith - they're going to be REALLY good. Nobody's talking about them because they're pretty much "out" with all these names still available, but when the dust settles after everyone's signed and people start looking at who will make noise in 2016 they're going to realize Boston's the best team in the AL East - and it really may not be very close.

with a pen that can lock games down after the 6th inning. Boston got Kimbrel but I haven't/don't remember much more about who else they have. Also, the Royals played incredible defense.. again.. not so familiar with the red sox defense.

Kimbrel, Carson Smith, Tazawa, Uehara, Hembree and possibly Kelly/Elias. Pretty dang good bullpen, not to mention their staff being better.

I don't see the Jays going anywhere anytime soon. Their lineup is the best in baseball. They have 4 of the top 15 bats in all of baseball.

Agreed. God forbid Hanley and Panda hit though. Betts, Pedroia, Bogaerts, Ortiz, Ramirez, Sandoval, Swihart, Castillo, Bradley would scare me a lot more since I "know" Tulo's going to miss substantial time at some point.

I'd have a tough time sleeping if I was Mark Shapiro and I was running a rotation of Stroman, Estrada, Dickey, Happ, and Jesse Chavez out there with no SP help on the horizon though. I really believe there are going to be stretches this year where even THEIR offense isn't going to be able to score enough to hide that weakness.

The Red Sox have help on the horizon and plenty of prospects to trade and the financial means to take on money if they need to plug a hole at some point - there aren't many teams in baseball that can say that.

Bos is probably favorites, would put NYY there if they add a SP, suspect rotation but if they keep Miller, a back-3 of Betances, Chapman and Miller is stupid good.

Jays lineup is crazy good but the rotation/pen is suspect, if their rotation holds up, then they could be up there as well.
