I really hope we get a Switch pro. I'm sick of my ****ty XBox One. I just had my 7 month old XBox One X **** the bed. Controller shat the bed even sooner than that. Only reason I have my XBox is Overwatch and Red Dead, if I could play Overwatch on Switch Pro and migrate my XBox information over, I'd be set. Honestly I don't care about **** I lost from Red Dead.
 
Very pleased with the Zelda announcements in the Direct today.

I’m so ready for Link’s Awakening. That’s the big hole in my Zelda catalogue.

I'm excited for it. So much win at the direct for me. Glad they confirmed a bunch of games like Witcher, Astral Chain with more information that's super good looking, and a bunch of other games aside from the big boys look solid. I already bought Collection of Mana. Sure it's overpriced but I don't care. I love those games.
 
I was looking at the switch store for what's coming out, and got dayum there's some games I really am excited for coming out soon.

Link's Awakening, Astral Chain looks good so far, I want to see more before buying it but I'm excited, Luigi's Mansion, Witcher 3, Sword and Shield, and more that I'm forgetting right now. Those games alone though are hundreds of hours of playtime for me. I honestly don't care about my XBox now, Only game coming out for that I'm excited for is Cyberpunk 2077. Gears I'm a little excited for but I barely played Gears 5. I'm almost at the point when my XBone dies, I'm thinking about just converting to a PC gamer and sticking to switch because I rarely play the XBox for anything other than Overwatch and the rare play of Red Dead. I could get the same stuff from a Chromecast.
 
Nintendo Direct INSANITY.

Terry Bogard announced as Smash DLC Fighter #4.

Then literally seconds later, they announced there will be MORE DLC characters than just the original 5 for the DLC Fighter Pass.
 
Overwatch for the Switch is bad news for me. I want to get back into Smash soon with Banjo-kazooie involved, I probably should. But I'm addicted to trying to finish Cuphead again.

Pokemon Snap looks so goooooood.

Also kind of hype for Pokemon Diamond/Pearl and Pokemon Legends Arceus sounds really interesting.
 
Anybody here snag a new console yet?

I got a PS5 a month ago and have been going on a crush of different FromSoftware games after playing Demon’s Souls. Those Soulsbourne games ruin other video games for me.

No, I'm waiting for 2 things for the PS5, first is stock normalization. Figure that hits summer or holiday of this year, as supply chain hiccups are starting to level out. Otherthing I want is an XBox style ps5 controller. I haven't bought a playstation because of the analog sticks on the bottom. Why haven't they updated it?

As someone who prefers the Xbox controller, the PS5 controller is fine. Big improvement over the DS4.

In all reality, unless you have a large backlog of games you want to play at 60 FPS, you are probably okay waiting a year. This year might be rough with game releases

Yeah I haven't really played with the PS5 controller much. I just want a second option.

Personally for me it would be to hit the backlog of PS games. I want to play Spiderman, God of War, etc.

Most of the new games coming out that I want are on the Switch or don't have a firm release date.

Contemplating getting the X as well since it seems like it will be a strong first party generation for Microsoft. Why do you find yourself playing that more than the PS5?

Just more invested into the Xbox Economy. Like Live more than PSN. Love my elite 2 controller. More friends on Xbox. Mainly use the PS5 for exclusives and buy third party games on Xbox
