If the man wants a child he should pro-create with a woman who wants a child.

I've never ****ed a girl who is baby crazy. I only go for ones who abortion is an option and we know that we don't want it. Period.

Again, men don't go through pregnancy. THat's the real issue. I could **** a chick, procreate, pay child support and be a ****ty person, she can't.

Personally I think a more fair way is the man to shoulder more than 50% of the load financially, because he did none of the work and didn't have his body ravaged by pregnancy. If anything having to pay 50% child support is getting off pretty easy.

I had a friend from high school who was with this crazy girl. They broke up but got drunk at a party. The girl wanted him back badly so promised him she was on birth control so they would have sex again. She then latched on to him at the end so he'd go inside of her.

yeah - she got pregnant.

He wanted her to abort (which I obviously think is sick). She refused, and said if he didn't get back together with he she would claim rape. So now they're back together, raising this child. And he's working two jobs to support it while she baby sits.

imagine if something like that happened the other way around...

I don't think that's fair, I do have issues with certain aspects of consent laws in the US, but in similar fashion to say affirmative action where because of how easy men got off for years.

That being said, being drunk isn't an excuse enough to have sex with someone. I've been blackout drunk and still been able to say no.

As far as the rape thing goes, you have to use your head. Period. If you're with someone use your head. If you're unable to use your head shut down. Find a friend, get yourself out of there.

I'm literally shaking my head. It's sad you think that man sticking his dick in a woman for a few minutes (seconds) equals 9 months of coming to term with a child, and the several months of hormone issues afterwards as well.

If a woman doesn't understand the risks of pregnancy prior to having sex, she should shouldn't be having sex.

I'd at least somewhat respect your opinion if you'd at least admit to the double standard your asking for.

My gf is in med school training to be an OBGYN. Her mom is an OBGYN. I probably know a heck of a lot more about what goes on than you do. And the reality is, it's complete bull**** to completely strip a man's right to have ANY say whatsoever in the pregnancy, and then demand he have full equal responsibility post-pregnancy.

You can't have it both ways... or at least, you shouldn't.

He has a say, she has the final say.

I know a man who convinced a woman to come to term, he paid her a surrogate fee essentially and raised the child. He had a say.

I do think personally if a man submits some form of formal request for an abortion, that it should be evidence in a child support case, but you run the risk of whether that positively or negatively effects you.

And it's not about having it both ways, it's about a woman's right to choose. A man's right to have sex is his right. A woman's right to have sex is her right. If those rights are violated it's a crime, if the woman becomes pregnant, it's her right to choose what to do with the life of that child. The man's responsibility if you would is in choosing to have sex or not. And in reality, given the world we live in, it's really hard to get someone pregnant if you don't want to. I've avoided it, my brother and his wife have a child, they avoided having that child for many many years before hand.
 
It's her legal right to have the innocent and defenseless and dependent child within her womb (or in 57's case outside the womb) mutilated and killed.
