The data is clear. When given the choice women choose fields like teaching, nursing, arts, etc (people subjects)... men choose things like math and science (things subjects)

The market pays substantially more for things over people... but women want to whine about it anyway
 
i would hesitate to make the generalization that women whine more than men

i don't have data...

but anecdotally i don't think that's the case

In terms of the organization required to excel in an academic setting with deadlines and such women will excel. But in pure thought experiments where it isn't regurgitated information and requires real time innovation men far and away perform higher than women.

We are made differently and thats ok.

The politics of this have the potential to be brilliant for the GOP if they don't screw it up by being obnoxious. Academia being biased against White men and East Asians was acceptable for The Power That Be. Now that the ethnic group that controls the vast majority of media is included, the amount of attention being drawn to it has grown exponentially. The sight of CNN anchors losing their minds about it is not something I expected to see in 2023.
