Short term, yes I agree with you. It’s going to be a system of automating tasks and humans will be exception managers.

Long term they are building artificial humans that are more coordinated, quicker learners, and never tire.

We are on a track to become a non-working species.

Because companies are notorious for corporate greed? When million dollar executive bonuses are paid out regardless of how the company performs, there should be some blow back from the blue collar workers. If the company is smart/healthy enough, they will adapt and ultimately grow stronger.

Sport unions are a great example of how a healthy relationship between ownership and workers can achieve more profits for everyone involved.

I've never been part of a union a managed to 10x my compensation in 10 years, despite working for some really greedy corporations

I think an automated future could be wonderful. An era of abundance where People could focus on healthcare and well-being. Status would be tied to one’s contributions to the community instead of wealth.

I’m more worried about the bumps along the road during the transition than I am with the end destination.

Yup. It is the journey (transition) that matters. Change is always a contentious matter but it can't be stopped. We can try to manage it but in some cases our ability to manage change is very limited. A lot of issues we spend a lot of energy arguing about it doesn't really matter. It's gonna happen.

More likeliy the Democrats panicked because they are about to get their ass handed them to the election and ensured that a deal was reached.

I certainly don't believe that was the only time he ever made that comparison. He got a lot of social status I'm sure for falling in line with Hitler narrative.

The alternative - that he genuinely believed it - should disqualify him from any job that requires the ability to critically think
